Error when deleting a data type record
SA-60549
Summary
Pega 7.4 is installed and rules are migrated from Pega 7.3 to Pega 7.4. In specific existing data types, unable to delete a record on clicking the Delete icon (trashcan).
Error Messages
Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY' with the name 'PZPREUPDATERECORDWRAPPER' that applies to 'SPR-Data-GryphonScrubRule'. There were 4 rules with this name in the rulebase, but none matched this request. The 4 rules named 'PZPREUPDATERECORDWRAPPER' defined in the rulebase are:
4 unrelated to applies-to class 'SPR-Data-GryphonScrubRule', for example: {PegaAccel-Task-DataTableEditor, Work-, Code-Pega-List, Data-}.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a data type with records.
- Click the Delete icon next to a record. The error displays.
Root Cause
For some data types, the Pattern inheritance class is specified as SPR-Data in the data type class record. As a result, the Rule Resolution attempts to locate the PZPREUPDATERECORDWRAPPER activity in the SPR-Data-GryphonScrubRule class.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Change the Pattern inheritance class value to SPR-Data- instead of SPR-Data. In this use case, SPR-Data is the Abstract class which is Pattern inherited from the Data- class.
