Error when entering a message in the Case Mgr portal in Pega 7

Summary



User is currently undergoing an exercise to upgrade a number of applications developed on PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.7.

The error occurs on the default Case Manager portal after the upgrade. When entering a message on the new Message tab and clicking the Share button, an error will be displayed in the pop-up window. Please see screenshot attached.

Although the message is subsequently updated to the database, the Message tab does not auto-refresh to show the new message entry.

Error Messages



The page or property D_MessageList.pxResults(1).pxResults(1).pxPages(OP).pxObjClass is un modifiable.
Calling method: com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.clipboard.ClipboardPropertyImpl.setValue(Object) Details: property is reserved

Steps to Reproduce



1. On the default Case manager portal, enter a new message in the Message tab and click Share.
2. An error message will be displayed in a pop-up window

Root Cause



The root cause for this issue is with the new Pulse feature in the pyWorkRelatedDetails under work-cover in Pega-EndUserUI:07-10-01.


Resolution



This issue is resolved by the user through the following local change:

User have replaced the pyWorkRelatedDetails with the old pyWorkNotes to resolve the problem. 
The business user accepted this fix as this is the same as Add Notes in Pega 6.2.
