Error when importing adaptive model rule

Summary



When importing a Rule Admin Product (RAP) with Adaptive Decision Manager (ADM) rules a error is encountered indicating an error reaching the ADMServer.

Error Messages



"Save Failed. Could not access HTTP invoker remote service at [/ADMServer]; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: host parameter is null"


Steps to Reproduce



Import ADM related rules to an environment without ADM configured/enabled.


Root Cause



A software use or operation error.

Resolution



Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior: This is the expected behavior when importing ADM rules into a non-ADM system. You should repackage the RAP file without the ADM rule(s) and re-do the import.
