Error when repairing Fast Correspondence using Actions button

Error occurs when verifying, rejecting, or repairing a Fast Correspondence using the Actions button. The Fast Correspondence is created using a Swift Message Template.

Error Messages

Error: .pyAssignmentsList(1).pyLabel: "Verify Swift_MT199 - PaymentReturned to Inquirer - 1st level: " is too long, maximum length allowed is 64

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Smart Investigate for Payments 7.11 on Pega 7.2.2.
  2. Create a Fast Correspondence of type Swift_MT199.
  3. Click Verify Action to verify the correspondence.

Root Cause

The issue was with the pyWorkActionsPopulate activity (in the Pega-EndUserUI ruleset).

To resolve the issue, the out-of-the-box activity must be recompiled. Since it is an out-of-the-box activity, the Revalidate and Save actions cannot be performed. Saving the Activity to the application ruleset may work when performing a Save As and the activity is compiled.

Perform the following local-change: Save the pyWorkActionsPopulate activity to the application ruleset.
