Error when saving flow rule with cyrillic symbols in connectors

Summary



Error occurs when saving a flow rule with cyrillic symbols in the connectors. This occurs after updating to Pega 7.3.1.


Error Messages

Connectors—
Unicode input is not enabled, please consult your system administrator



Steps to Reproduce

  1. Update from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.3.1
  2. Set a flow rule connector name with cyrillic symbols


Root Cause



An issue in the custom application code or rules. The 'RuleManagement/EnableUnicodeRuleNames' DSS setting was set to False.


Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Set the 'RuleManagement/EnableUnicodeRuleNames' DSS setting as True.
