Summary
Getting Error when trying to update or insert data to a property that is linked to a virtual column of External table in Oracle.
Error Messages
ORA-54017: UPDATE operation disallowed on virtual columns
Steps to Reproduce
- Make sure Oracle database table you are accessing has virtual column.
- Create and activity to call method Obj-Open to read the column from the database.
- Write a step "Property-Set" to update the property.
Root Cause
This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.
Resolution
An enhancement request, FDBK-15788 has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
