Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

Create a gadget that calls a simple listview that uses any header, and has the "Display data in a frameset" option checked

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.  This problem occurs on 6.x PRPC versions and above as PRPC clears some pages once the report has been run.  This causes timing issue sometimes with multiple clicks.  It has been determined that the deletion of pages is critical to the way reports are running in PRPC 6.x and hence this shouldn't be changed.

This doesn't affect all listviews but only those having "Display data in a FrameSet" checked in the format tab of the listview rule.

Resolution

This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-10214.  The change made by this hotfix was when the stream name is empty, an error message to resubmit the request is being displayed to user instead of displaying an exception.
