Error while importing RAP jar in Production Instance

We are trying to import a RAP jar which has the latest build and get an error during the import process. The error is The Flow Action post-processing activity pxSetShowAllSteps failed: java.lang.NullPointerException.

We have checked that hotfix HFix-7127 is already installed.

NBAM 6.3.1
PRPC 6.3sp1

Error Messages

The Flow Action post-processing activity pxSetShowAllSteps failed: java.lang.NullPointerException

Steps to Reproduce

Trying to import the RAP jar file.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. After running couple of test by splitting the product rule into separate product rules we are able to narrow down the issue to one schema named IS_INTERACTION_HISTORY. This was moved to a different schema in the production environment and hence there was a discrepancy between Dev and Production environments.

After fixing the same in Dev to make is same as in Production, the import worked fine.

Fixed the IS_INTERACTION_HISTORY table in Dev to reside under correct database.
Re-export the RAP jar
Performed the RAP jar import with success.
