ESRI map labels do not display in IE Quirks mode

A developer has configured specialty component section to integerate  Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) maps into their application.

One of ESRI's mapping features is to add labels on the map. These labels render properly on Chrome or when IE is running in standards mode. But turning on standards mode disrupts the rest of the PRPC user portal.

A PRPC application running on IE in Quirks mode causes the lable to dissappear.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

Integrate ESRI maps with labels via a specialty component section into PRPC.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. PRPC 6.3 SP1 requires IE to run in Quirks mode to render properly. If ESRI requires standards mode to be fully functional then ESRI needs to be engaged for Quirks mode support if these maps are to be integrated into a PRPC application.

Engage ESRI for quirks mode support.
