Exception RemoteApplicationException in log files

SA-11622

Summary



An AES 7.1 system on Pega 7.1.7 with EAR deployment on WebLogic Application Server. 

The AES system is working correctly and able to retrieve the alert information from the monitored nodes. However, the system is throwing a RemoteApplicationException regularly.

Steps to Reproduce



The issue only occurs after deploying AES 7.1 HFix-9623.

Root Cause



After deploying HFix-9623, security credentials were not set before making connect-soap call from ExecuteGetIndexInfo activity which results in the issue reported occuring.

Resolution



HFix-22561 ensures that the security credentials are set before making the connect-soap call from ExecuteGetIndexInfo activity.
