Explorer inheritance does not switch to directed

Summary
When using FF and switching the explorer inheritance from pattern to directed, the directed inheritance does not take affect.

Steps to Reproduce
Try switching between directed inheritance and pattern inheritance on the Application explorer.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
Resolution
This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Pega 7.1.8 release.
