Exposed column not getting populated with value

Database server was moved from IBM AIX to Oracle Enterprise Linux. After that, one of the exposed text properties is not getting populated in the work table.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Move the database from AIX to Oracle Enterprise Linux.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: When multiple properties are present in the Class hierarchy that have the same name but varying case (for example, yourProperty vs Yourproperty), explicit mapping is required on the Class Rule Form 'External Mapping' tab.

In certain cases, when this explicit mapping fails with error "A property of this name already exists within the inheritance path.

Consider removing duplicate property definitions as they can negatively impact system performance", the property will need to be saved in a higher ruleset for the explicit mapping to work.

Perform the following local-change:

Create an explicit mapping on the External Mapping tab of the Class Rule form for the property and database column.
