Summary

Pega 7.2 Word merge functionality does not support Word 2016.
 

Error Messages

"SilverLight Control ERROR in 'sGetWordMacroDotPath': Microsoft Word version '16.0' is not supported"

Steps to Reproduce

Run Silverlight-based Word merge.

Root Cause

Word 2016 was not supported in Pega 7.2 release as shipped.
 

Resolution

Apply HFix-30616.

Note:If user does not have admin rights to install pre-requisites automatically, then after installing the HFix:

1. Download PZSLPREREQS binary from the Pega server.
2. ​Extract that CAB and use the setup.exe in there to (re)install the SL pre-reqs on user machines with the help of IT administrator as needed.
