Extract filter not working with externally mapped property

SA-36336

Summary

A class is configured with external mappings and, for some of the properties, the Property Name does not match the database Column Name. If there is an extract in that class and a filter is added using one of those properties, no filter is applied when the extract runs.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have a class with external mappings and a Property Name that does not match the database Column Name.
  2. Create an Extract rule in that class.
  3. Add a filter using a property whose name does not match the database column name.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules
The BIX code gets the columns from the table and tries to search for the property name in the list of columns. If the property name does not match the column name, the filter will not be added to the query.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
in the External Mapping tab of the Class form, ensure that the Property Name and database Column Name match.
