Failed to install Pega PRPC ML9 due to HotFix

SA-17506

Summary

We are trying to update our Pega PRPC 7.1.8 to 7.1.9, but the Update_Setup fails because "the system contains hotfixes generated after this release was built".
Even after removing the Hotfix (it was not committed), the error persist.

Steps to Reproduce

- Install Hotfix 24080 on Pega PRPC 7.1.8;
- Install the Maintenance Level 9.

Root Cause

Hotfixes are installed. The validation updates the updatedatetime, causing false positives. Executing the update script with force option and these rules are replaced with the Pega 7.1.9 version.

Resolution

Upgrade from IUA

Add below value in setupDatabase.properties
force.ml.update=true

From command line

Update.sh/bat -force
