Failure to retrieve and enforce Contact policies



Pega Marketing 8.3 is installed on Pega Platform 8.3.
When using Next Best Action Designer (NBAD) 2, the logic to suppress actions does not work correctly. Hence, unable to retrieve Contact polices and the retrieved Contact policies are enforced incorrectly.

Steps to Reproduce

Use the NBAStrategyFramework to retrieve Contact policy.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
In NBAD 2, a Contact policy was created as 'If there are 2 Impressions for Web treatments, suppress the action for 10 days'. When a real-time container was initiated, the Contact policy was not applied to the action. Hence, the same action was obtained after two Impressions.
