FCM closing CPM tab doesn't release remote locks

Summary



When using PRPC 6.3 SP1, with CPM and FCM, closing a CPM work  item tab which contains federated cases, the lock implementation does not release the workobject lock for the federated cases (from the remote system). The lock is still present on work item until the lock timeout period has been reached.


Error Messages


No error message. But lock is not releasing on closing of work object.

Root Cause



This is the issue in CPM 6.3SP2 framework.
CPM Framework Enhancement required, to support Federated Workobject Lock Release on close of a CPM Tabbed layout.

Resolution




Provided a fix, CPM_LocalFix_SR118418_RemoteCaseLockIssue.jar which contains the required code changes to allow Federated Workobjects Locks to be released upon closure of a CPM Work Tab.
Before installing this CPM fix, Developer should install the below given pre-requisite CPM hotfixes in the same order given here
