File Listener does not set LogServiceFile.pyWorkFileName

SA-37765

Summary

After migrating from Pega 7.2.1 to 7.2.2, file listeners are no longer setting the property pyWorkFileName with the renamed file name on the LogServiceFile instances.

In Pega 7.2.1, when the case was launched, the LogServiceFile had a property pyWorkFileName which contained the name of the file being processed, as it was renamed by Pega when the file listener started (filename.timestamp.extension).

Without this property there is no alternate way for the case to open the file.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure the file listener in Pega 7.2.2 environment with LogServiceFile as the source page name and to persist log file instances.
2. Place a file in the watched folder.
3. Open log file instances and observe the field pyWorkFileName is missing.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution

Apply HFix-34143.
