FileNetError when uploading a document with empty path param



When user uploads a document, gets an error in logs CIL1500 from FileNet.

Analyzed TCP dumps from server and before calling createDocument, which creates document in FileNet, there is a call getObjectByPath with blank path parameter, that causes CIL1500 error in logs.

The file itself is saved in the correct folder in FileNet without any issues.

Error Messages

2017-02-07 13:23:24,955 [ WebContainer : 14] [TABTHREAD4] [ ] [xxxxxx:01.01] ( connect.cmis.CMISConnector) ERROR xxxxxxxx|Rule-Connect-CMIS.xxxxxx - CMIS error code:
CMIS_RUNTIME_EXCEPTION. CIL1500: The service cannot be completed.

Explanation: This error can occur for the following reasons:
- An error in the IBM CMIS application
- An error on the repository

Steps to Reproduce

1. Upload document to external FileNet system using Pega functionality.
2. Observe logs

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules as some debug logging left in the code.
