The FilePath control does not set the file name correctly

SA-9526

Summary

On using file attachment in Chrome browser, you see popup that has Browse file functionality. The first time you browse a file, the subject name shows up correctly. However, if you browse another file, the subject name does not get refreshed. It still shows the subject name of the first file.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a Case and click add a file under attachments.
2. Browse a file and then browse again and choose another file.

Root Cause

The FilePath control has a parameter option to set pySetValueFromFileName which can have the property that needs to be updated whenever the file is to be uploaded. It works perfectly for the first time but the second time onwards it does not get updated.

The issue is with the check if (!desc.value) in function updateDescription in the FilePath control.

Resolution

HFix-22029 resolves the issue.
