Summary

A section in Work-class contains a pagelist pointing to Data-WorkAttach-File class. A flow action on Data-WorkAttach-File class contains another section which in turn contians a file path control.
The repeat grid of the first section refer the flow action such that a local action opens on clicking Add Item link.
During runtime, clicking the Add Item link the first time, a file can be attached; clicking second time results in freezing of screen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a section "S1" in Work- class. Add a repeat grid with pagelist pointing to "Data-WorkAttach-File" class.
2. Create a local flow action "FA1" on "Data -WorkAttach-File" class and add a section "S2" in it. Add file path control to the section.
3. Modify the configuration of repeat grid of section "S1" to refer "FA1" so that local action opens on clicking "Add Item" link.
4. Click "Add Item" link, on the modal dialog opened, browse a file and click "ok" to close the modal dialog.
5. Click "Add Item" again. Observe that screen freezes.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. When Add row to a grid is preceded by a file dialog dismissal, grid does not respond and is scrimmed by the throbber. A script error is observed in performInsertAction() function if ui_grid.js file.

Resolution

Install HFix-23899.
