First column in Tree grid is not visible in Internet Explorer

Summary
In Internet Explorer 9, first column in the treegrid is not visible. Any refresh in that section, makes it visible. It works in any other browser (Chrome) and in quirks mode in IE. In IE debugger it is observed that the ID of "repeatContainer gridDefault TreeGrid readOnlyGrid" is formed as 'Pega_Grid0', whereas after any refresh (when the column is made visible) the ID forms as 'Pega_Grid1'.
Error Messages
No error message. Visibility of column is malfunctioning.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Place a tree grid in section.
2. Configure the tree grid section section in harness(portal harness).
3. On launch of portal, observe the first column in the treegrid.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ rule RULE-FILE-TEXT WEBWB PZPEGA_UI_GRID!JS #20140818T080159.766 GMT
Resolution
This issue is resolved by Hfix-20617.
