Error Messages

ENGINE API:Error packaging item with key - section!!<YourSectionName>. Exception com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRRuntimeException: Failed to find instance @baseclass.<YourSectionName> of type Rule-HTML-Section.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a button on a section to open a local action in modal dialog.
  2. Let the local action reside in a Work- class, and it references a section from a Data- class.
  3. Run this configuration on a mobile app and check the logs.

Root Cause

The reported configuration is currently not supported for offline. This issue is determined to be a product enhancement request.

Resolution

An enhancement request, FDBK-20808, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.

One possible local change to try: create pyAttachmentPage that you have in your configuration through data transform/javascript code before load of the section that hosts the button, so that it is available when packaging is invoked.
