Flow ends that start with a Decision Shape with undefined record

SA-3458

Summary

Stage "Decision" has steps "Background Check" and "Assess Candidate" which runs in parallel. First step is an assignment, second is a multi-step process with a Decision shape (which points to a Decision Tree). Now, if that Decision shape references an undefined Decision record the process will not execute i.e. there is no way to proceed with the case.

Error Messages

No error message. Process flow hangs.

Steps to Reproduce

Login as SAE1Architect/password
Search for CandidateScoring decision tree, create a backup copy with a different name and then delete the main one.

Result: (There is no way to proceed with the case)

Expected Results:

Root Cause

The root cause was due to an issue with DRAFTMODECHOICE flow rule. Where DraftModeChoice was marked as an internal flow and which causes the issue.

Resolution

This issue is resolved by HFIX-10344 which Unchecks the check box "Process commander internal flow" so that this flow is not marked as an internal flow.
