Summary

The focus shifts to default tab instead of focusing on the tab where a work object is searched.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into the application.
2. Open the Dashboard screen, and click any tab in Layout group.
3. Search for any Interaction, I-XYZ, by entering the ID in search box, and click the search icon. After the search, My cases tab results are displayed.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules:
When Layout group is used, the reported behavior is expected as per design.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Use Tab group instead of Layout group to achieve the user requirement, which is to retain focus in the same tab where the work object is searched.
