SA-47893

Summary

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Scenario 1:
  1. Create a temporary directory in the server
  2. Add the file (file name must contain font of a different language, other than English).

Scenario 2:

Create a product file (product name  should contain font of a different language, other than English).

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.

Vietnamese or other fonts display correctly in the UI and in the local system (Windows). However, in WebSphere, the filename is replaced by '?'. This was because, UTF-8 encoding was not set on the server to support these fonts.

Resolution

Set the encoding to UTF-8 on the application server.
