Format is lost when plain text emails contain chinese characters



User is using Outlook to send emails to PRPC.
They send emails are in plain text and display the email message content on a RichTextEditor (RTE).
After editing the email in RTE, the email will be sent back to user. During this process following issues identified:

Format issue when viewing the Correspondence email in WO attachments screen.
Format issue when viewing the email received in OutLook.

Steps to Reproduce

Send a plain text email with "
张志明" chinese character to PRPC Email Listener.
Use email content pyBody to send correspondance to other users through correspondance.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

Appending new line after reading every line in the body was not implemented.


This issue is resolved by hotfix item Hfix-9873.
