FTSIncrementalIndexer queue size never reaches zero



On the System: Settings landing page on the Search tab, the FTSIncrementalIndexer agent queue size never reaches zero.

​It will go up and down, but never drops down to zero. The longest item in the queue is over a month old. Search seems to work fine.

Steps to Reproduce

Review the Agent Information section on the System: Settings landing page Search tab.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The items in the queue were stuck in a Now-Processing state, but the node listed as the processing node was not connected to the cluster. 


Make the following change to the operating environment:

Truncate the pr_sys_queue_ftsindexer table to remove the stale entries.
