Funnel filters do not change records count on report definition

The following issues occur on report definition filters:
  • Issue 1: The funnel filters do not change the records count
  • Issue 2: After navigating to a page, opening a work object from a grid and then closing the work object, the funnel filters are lost and the screen refreshes back to page which has the grid

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Write a logic for counting number of rows inside a grid
  2. Apply filters in the grid
  3. Run the flow. After the filtered data loads, the row counts does not update

Issue 2:

  1. Open a work item by clicking the link control from the grid rowThe work item opens in the current section, replacing the section which contains the grid
  2. Close the work item. The flow returns to the section which has the grid, where the grid is reloaded and the grid state such as filtered rows is lost

Root Cause

Issue 1: The result was counted from the pxResults data page which doe snot change even after applying a filter

Issue 2: This is as per Pega Product design.

Perform the following local-change:

Issue 1:
Create a non out-of-the-box section with the below codes, and include it inside a table cell in the grid:

   String strMessage = "";
   strMessage =(tools.getParamValue("totalRecords"))+"";
<div class="standard_(label)_dataLabelRead" style="white-space:nowrap;"><span style="font-weight:bold; font-size:15px;">Records Count :</span>
  <%=strMessage %></div>

Issue 2:
Instead of opening the work item in the current section open it in a new tab.
