Generated Application Document is corrupted

Summary
After creating an Application Document from the Document Application landing page, the generated document cannot be opened using Microsoft Word.
It is considered "corrupted".
This issue is new to version Pega 7.2.2. The platform was upgraded to Pega 7.2.2 recently. Prior to this upgrade, the document generation was working alright.
Error Messages
Word reports the file as corrupted when opening the generated document.
Steps to Reproduce
Generate an Application Document on a Pega 7.2.2 platform.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
A document generated with the version of the DOCX4J library included in Pega 7.2.2 contains tag values which are not accepted by Microsoft Word when additional Language Pack are installed.
Resolution
Apply HFix-33606.
