Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a repeat grid.
2. Configure the header.
3. Add <HTML><p></p></HTML> wrappers to the text field of the label.
4. Save the section.

Root Cause

HTML tags have been directly inserted into the label field.

Resolution

For maximum reusability and minimum maintenance, styling should be handled from Skin rules.

Skin rules can be managed centrally and applied out to all applicable fields.

If a field requires specific styles that should not be reused in a skin rule, instead apply Inline stylings by following these steps:

1. Open the configuration for the cell:

2. In Presentation, open the Advanced Presentation Options and click Cell inline style.

3. From here, define a styling for the cell to override other skin rules:

4. Once it has picked the required style and previews the way you want, apply the styles and save:

Observe the new styles in the Cell inline style.

Note that the cell will now have an alert on it at design-time, to indicate that this cell uses an inline style that overrides the skin rule.
