Guardrail warnings appear for deleted rules

Summary



When performing Save As of a property to a class, which falls in the heritance hierarchy of the original Applies-to class of the property, guardrail warning is created. If one of the properties is deleted, the guardrail warning also should get deleted but it does not.

Steps to Reproduce



Create a property in parent class and delete it and then create property with same name in that inheritance path and try generating that guardrail report.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Warnings are maintained in pr_index_warnings table. Delete the records pertaining to the specific property rule from the pr_index_warnings table.
