High availability functionality not working correctly
- Upon recovering a lost session after re-login the user is presented with read only views into any work objects that were open in a Perform harness prior to the crash. An assignment link is provided which will take the user to the Perform Harness.
- If the high availability (HA) advisory session recovery notification is disabled via HA Admin functionality the functionality of the restored sessions is also lost.
Steps to Reproduce
For number 1:
- Log in to the system.
- Open a few interactions.
- Close the browser.
- Log back in.
For number 2:
- Go to Designer Studio > System > High Availability > HA Cluster Settings > Enable end user messaging of a crash event.
- Uncheck this item.
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules : The first point is the intended behavior, and will not be changed by Pega. The second point is a known issue which will be fixed in a future version of the Product.
The first issue is expected behavior, and will not be changed. This second issue is scheduled to be resolved in update release .
