IE compatability Issues for Pega 7



When the IE Browser has the Compatibility Enabled, the Menu is not loading correct.

Error Messages

No Error Message. But Menu is not loading properly. Please find attachment

Steps to Reproduce

There are 2 ways to reproduce:
1. Enable the Compatability in IE browser by going to Tools> Compatability View
2. Tools> Compatability View Settings and check wny of these Check boxes (Display intranet sites in Compatability View or Display all websites in Compatability View)

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment.


Please note, that as per our Platform Support Guide, For IE9 and IE10, Pega 7 will no longer support the IE8 “compatibility mode” (EmulateIE8). Browsers in IE8 compatibility mode will not display correctly. If the compatibility mode is on, you'll need to disable it in Pega 7, because Pega 7 applications must run in standard mode.
