IE pop-up error with Pega 7.2

Summary
User recently updated their Pega application from Pega 7.1.9 to Pega 7.2.
When user login to their Pega 7.2 application, user gets Internet Explorer pop-up error 'IE 6.0 or above is required to successfully run this application'.
Same error is seen in all the browser types - Chrome and Firefox browser.
Error Messages
'IE 6.0 or above is required to successfully run this application'
Steps to Reproduce
- Log into the application.
- Error message displayed "IE 6.0 or above is required to successfully run this application".
- On clicking "OK". Page does not display.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-27307.
