Summary
IllegalArgumentException while creating a custom DateTime format with a new UI control.
Error Messages
Cannot create format "Date-Short-Custom-YYYY", default format is used
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal pattern character 't'
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to the application
- Select one of the out-of-the-box formats on pxDateTime control
- Run Preview
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The UI control did not pass the right format to the Engine formatter.
Resolution
Apply HFix-54562.
