Import of records to Data Table is not inserting/updating record



When attempting to import records for a class which is mapped to an external table, the import appears successful but after a refresh the data table shows the records have not been updated.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Map a class to external table.
  2. Select Data option from case designer left panel.
  3. Add the class and go to the Data Type rule.
  4. Go to records tab and use the import option to try adding records. This will show successful update or addition of records.
  5. Click ok and refresh the data in the data table. The records will not be updated or inserted or deleted.

Root Cause

There is an issue with validation code in Pega if it is an externally mapped table.
