Import of a rules jar fails trying to change a column type

SA-2011

Summary



Attempting to import X.jar fails.
User tried importing X.jar file through Import Wizard.
When Automatic process was selected, an error occured 
"The above SQL Statement contain a change to a column type. Automatic maintenance does not apply Column Type changes."


Error Messages


"The above SQL Statement contain a change to a column type. Automatic maintenance does not apply Column Type changes."

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Import x.jar through the import wizard
  2. Select Automatic process

Root Cause



One column type of the table in the system does not match with the column type of the same table in X.jar.

Resolution



Change column type of the table before importing the jar file
