Inceremental indexing issue

SA-32506

Summary

Indexes for deleted rules still exist in the system until the re-indexing the class has been performed with Pega 7.2.2.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch CM Business analyst portal.
2. In the left hand menu, click on tasks link and create task.
3. Now open the tasks list( Left hand menu, click on tasks), search for task created and open it.
4. Now delete the task selected, the menu will show the references which will be deleted.

The deleted task will disappear from the list, whereas the indexes for alert and careplan will still remain in the system ( will remain till the class level indexing is done, but the rules are deleted).

Root Cause

The issue was found with the new changes in update index flow where index updates using queueBatchActivity are not being processed in the order of submission.

This caused some index updates to be processed after the same document was deleted in some cases.

Resolution

Apply HFix-31454.
