SA-79620

Summary

Inconsistent behavior in the Case Worker and the Case Manager portals on clicking the Save button. When there are client side validation errors, the form is saved in the Case Manager portal, whereas, browser-level alerts display in the Case Worker portal.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Case Worker portal
  2. Launch any work item which has mandatory fields in the UI
  3. Do not fill the mandatory fields
  4. Click Save and observe the behavior
  5. Click Refresh under Actions dropdown and verify the behavior
  6. Repeat Steps 2 to 5 in the Case Manager portal and observe the inconsistency between both the portals

Root Cause

In the Case Manager portal, the harness has multi document mode in the dynamic container whereas, in the Case Worker portal, it is in single document mode.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Open the pyCaseWorker section and configure a dynamic container
  2. Change the mode to multi document, default view to Harness and provide the harness name as pyCWHarnessContent
  3. Remove the original dynamic container that is present in that section
