Incorrect translation of Discard in French



In some screens when a french user want to discard an action, two buttons are proposed:
  • Annuler (Cancel)
  • Annuler (Discard)

The Pega translation for these two are same.

Steps to Reproduce

Install PegaRULES Process Commander 7.1 Language Pack Kit (

Discard a report edition
Close the "bulk actions"

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules : The translation for both Cancel and Discard are "Annuler' in the french language pack.


Perform the following local-change: 

The field value that contains the “Annuler” translation can be saved into the application French ruleset and updated to the required translation as shown below:

Following these changes the dialog is displayed as shown below for a user using French locale.
