Incorrect values during import of data copied from other excel

Summary
An Import data option is used to load the Variants information and the user has uploaded an Excel template. On downloading the template, the cells are in the Text mode.
Additionally, on copying data from the SourceData Excel file to the ApplnTemplate Excel file, incorrect values are imported to the grid.

Steps to Reproduce
- Copy values from the Notepad to the Excel file.
- Upload the Excel file.
- Download the file.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Format the cells in the Excel file before copying the data.
- In the Excel sheet, select the column for which the format must changed.
- Navigate to the Data tab.
- Click the 'Text to columns' option in the Data tab:
- Skip the first two steps and provide the column format as Text in the final step.
- Click Finish.
- Save the Excel file.
