Input configuration with association does not preview all props

An Input Configuration with an Association rule is configured.

When the Input configuration is previewed on a sample set of 10 users with no strategy chosen, all the properties form the associated table are shown in the embedded page. But when a Strategy is selected in the "Fetch for Strategy" field , the associated embedded page shows only 2 or 3 properties.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Input Configuration.
2. Include an association rule to create embedded pages.
3. Preview the input configuration with and without "Fetch for strategy" set to a value.

Root Cause

This is an expected behavior and it is known as Smart Fetching.

The preview shows only the properties which are used in the Strategy and thus this streamlining is done.

This behavior is enabled or disable using the Dynamic System Settings "Pega-DecisionEnginestructureddata/enableSmartFetching" .

By default it is set to true which makes this enable.

Change the value of this DSS to false to disable smart fetching.

However from performance perspective it is recommended to set it to true.
