Integration of Agile Studio with the workbench of an application



ConnectionTimeoutException occurs when integrating with an Agile Studio instance imported through a Product rule.

Error Messages

Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.http.conn.ConnectTimeoutException: Connect to URL:443 failed: connect timed out

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Import Agile Studio to a Pega Cloud system through a Product rule.
  2. Log in to a different Development system.
  3. Navigate to Application Definition > Integration & Security > Integration > Agile Studio.
  4. Provide the URL of the system in which Agile Studio resides.

Root Cause

Pega Cloud users cannot import Agile Studio from a Product rule file.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

Pega Cloud users must,
  • Request for a separate instance of Agile Studio.
  • Provide the list of IPs that must be whitelisted for an Agile Studio instance at Security Group and Instance level.
