Interaction Report Definition issue

SA-34415

Summary

User has run an email campaign which has email treatment configured with track click rate and open.

But when tried to view in Interaction History Reports >Recent Interaction, user is unable to see all data.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to PegaMarketing Portal.
2. Click on Reports >Interaction History >Recent Interactions.

Root Cause

In the Report Definition rule pyInteractionsHistory, there is a filter condition which checks for the Application name, that is, pxApplicationDimension.pyApplication.

Since this info is not passed from PRPC to marketing side, the value is empty.

In this case, email campaign is run and Interaction history is captured on click of link(Accept/Reject) in the Email treatment).

Resolution

Perform the following local-change steps:

1. 'Save As' the rule pyInteractionsHistory (CL:Data-Decision-IH-Fact RS:Pega-DecisionArchitect:07-10-19 ) into custom RS.
2. Remove the below filter condition in the rule pyInteractionsHistory.

pxApplicationDimension.pyApplication == Application.pyProductName.
