Intermittent "hung/stuck" problems for all users

Users gets intermittent problems. They report getting stuck with the 'spinner' while doing different work tasks.

The only way to interrupt is to do a browser refresh and start all over again.

Error Messages

"Request from server failed"

Steps to Reproduce

The fault is intermittent and there is no particular way to reproduce it.
It happen in various place in the application and no trace of the pattern.

Root Cause

A defect in Internet Explorer titled "When you use Internet Explorer or another program to perform a re-POST operation, only the header data is posted"

In order to experience this defect, the server timeout has to be less than the client timeout (browser).
The Microsoft hotfix for this issue doesn't resolve the issue.

In order to resolve the issue, make sure the server keep alive timeout is higher than the Internet Explorer client timeout (which is 60 second by default).

For instance, Apache is using a keep alive timeout of 10 second so this would need to be increased if used with Internet Explorer.
