Root Cause

The user's application has a custom portal extended from CaseManager portal. This portal has a dynamic container with multi-document mode. This results in the use of iFrame in Safari browser and this is a known performance issue. Dynamic Containers (DC) can be used but they need to be in single document mode. This screenshot shows a DC that is in multi-document mode.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change: Use a portal extended from an "end user" portal such as CaseWorker. When adding a DC, the option is presented to choose document mode.

Choosing Single Document will not allow for entry of number of tabs.
