Issue with Data Types in Pega 7.2



User is unable to map  the Data type  properties to External table columns.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create Data Type.
2. Map the Data Type to a DB Table not having the Out-of-the-box (OOTB) Properties exposed.
3. Configure the source for Data Type.

Root Cause

Its is expected behavior.


User can use external database table class mapping wizard to create data type and corresponding properties from the database table.

Perform the following local-change steps:
  1. Go to Designer studio > Data model > Classes & Properties > Database class mappings > Button 'New external database table class mapping wizard'.
  2. Configure source using data designer, it automatically populates all the properties.
