Issue with Date selection based on language settings in Browser



The case is configured to be processed from one user to other user after filling the form. Here the form includes few date time fields. These both users are with different browser language settings.

After filling the forms, when user1 submits the case, it gets routed to user2. Here the date format for user2 still comes in the format of the User1 browser language settings instead of the user2 language settings. Due to this an error is thrown on the filed when user2 tries to submit the case.

Error Messages

The Flow Action post-processing activity failed : PropertyValueInvalid

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Fill date from user1 with one locale settings.
  2. Then the case gets routed to second user with different locale.

Root Cause

The Date property which is causing the issue was set as "Text" but not Date. If the property was DateTime then the property automatically changes to user locale settings. Because the property was "Text" it is not automatically converted to the locale format.


Change the property's type to "DateTime"
