Issue with refreshing tree grid in a modal dialog

SA-956

Summary

A Tree grid layout is created. And a checkbox is included in one of the columns of the grid.  In the behavior of checkbox "ONCLICK (Refresh this section)" is configured . ( The checkbox is used for read-only condition on description column).

The tree grid is opened on a modal dialog from a button. When the pop-up/Modal dialog appeared, clicking on any item without scrolling indicated the expected behavior- section refreshes and the clicked checkbox is seen.

However, if the window is scrolled down first in the pop-up. And then the checkbox is clicked for instance, in the middle , the section scrolls down and clicked checkbox appeared at the bottom of the view and it did not retain the position where it was.

This issue occurs in IE 9 and IE 10.

Error Messages

No error message

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Tree Grid layout and two columns in it (checkbox and text).
2. To populate this layout use tree data structure. Then setup "ONCLICK(Refresh this section)" behavior on checkbox.
3. Have enough data to populate this pop-up section so that the scroll panel appears.
4. The next step is to scroll in the middle approximately and click on checkbox related to some element, so all element will scroll down and, as a result, clicked element will fall to the bottom of the view.

Root Cause

The issue is with the implementation/design of the layout which shows the Modal dialog.
The modal dialog layout was configured to have a fixed pane with limited height, so a scroll bar appeared as it opens up

Resolution

Use px as width and remove freeze pane.
